Photo Stalker.... Stealing Inspiration

Ok, so i know that I have not posted in a long time... :::cough:::sorry Kathi:::cough::::

At least I have good reason! I am working, well, a lot to say the least. Any spare time I have is usually either already spoken for, or I give it to my man and my friends. Lucky for you, I am sitting in class tonight, done with my test, waiting for the lecture to begin. So I'm going to take the next 24 minutes to share with you what I have been doing.

Stalking.

No really I do read a lot of other blogs (Check out my list of reading favs), and I have no shame in right clicking and saving the photos I see in my wedding photo inspiration folder. Some of them also come from facebook.
::::Sidenote to add that in the beginning I was terrible about keeping track of my sources, so sorry and if you know where some of these came from let me know! I just google stuff::

Ok so Mavris is located near a railroad track, so I googled and found a couple good inspiration photos.

These next two are courtesy of the Indianapolis photographer Rich Miller.

This one I stole from a friend of a friend's facebook album... check out deer&darling for more information on the bride and her photographer whose name is Cathy Satre.

These came from Wedding Cabaret, a blog I follow, and she has the original sources on her site.

I love the look of the falling petals.... And how happy does the couple look!

Because I don't know this person I am only going to imagine this is her father pre-wedding.. in which case I think this is a very neat way to capture the moment before you walk down the isle... and well as my dad might say, "Give the family its name back!"

These are from Rich Miller again... and from couples that got married at Mavris.

So yeah i might not be on here much... But September I kick off the official planning madness... In the mean time I'm just stealing inspiration!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.....

First of all I would just like to say, that one of the perks of being in school is a snow day! A professor totally negates the joy that one feels when this happens if she assigns a TON of homework to be done. Seriously, is life so short that we can no longer enjoy a day of being snowed in?
Anyway.... Good news ladies and gents: I HAVE A PHOTOGRAPHER!! She was my first choice. Kelly is someone that I grew up knowing and have a great respect for. Not too mention she is a fabulous artist and photographer and I feel really honored to be a part of her growing clientele. Her website is http://www.artimagesbykellylynn.com/ feel free to check out her stuff. She took some pictures of Josh and I this fall and they were absolutely awesome considering that neither one of us prides ourselves on being very photogenic. That's probably the biggest reason that I am excited, because this means that I will not have to try and act natural in front of some stranger.

I am beginning to get really frustrated about how far away the wedding is. I have all these great DIY ideas, and I can't justify starting them until this time next year! So in the mean time I just keep browsing stores and websites looking for ideas to "borrow."
I did buy a few candle holders at Yankee Candle the other day. I love them, think they are adorable, and was super stoked that they came in my wedding colors. I plan on buying a few a week, and even if I don't get enough to use on every table mark my words, "I will use them." So if you are out and about and happen to want to get me something.... at $6.99 I think I have the perfect gift!

They are sooo cute! Much better in person... There is also a taller wine bottle of the same color, but I have my own idea about creating something similar, and it involves drinking lots of wine between now and then!

I am trying to decide if I want to use real flowers, and have to make everything the day before, or fake flowers and make things weeks in advance. I love the beauty of real flowers, but literally have nightmares about them all wilting the night before, or all of me volunteers deciding not to help me and having to pull a sad lonely all nighter alone! We'll see.

I love love love perfectwedding.com! They have the best selection of pictures, and I could literally spend all day looking at them if school did not make me use my computer for real work sometimes! So as I leave you on this cold and snowy day to begin working on all of this work, I will share with you some of the awesome photos I found today!
